[Ehsfaculty] follow-up on Lab Safety Contact fall meeting

Hello Lab Safety Contacts and PIs,

Thank you to everyone that could join our meeting yesterday.  I have attached the slides that were shared and some other referenced documents.  Here were the agenda items discussed:


  *   Hazardous Waste updates - biological waste flyers attached
  *   Lab Coat Laundering program updates
     *   Program is launching in early January.  Locker combinations will be emailed to this group during the week of January 8th.
     *   Barcoding appointments are available, first appointments are next week: https://ucrehs.simplybook.me/v2/#book/category/2/count/1/
  *   RSS Tips: new door placard system - more in-depth PDF attached.
     *   Let us know if you have questions or issues with the new system.  We are currently discussing approaches for rooms without chemical inventory, if you have other cases where the new system isn't working as you expect or need let us know.

  *   Winter Closure Reminder
