Can you send this announcement out to all students graduate and undergraduate. The standardized patient program is a great opportunity for people to sharpen their improv and acting skills and to earn some money. The program uses people of all ages and they don't even have to be students. And apparently they'll be needing 'actors' soon.

Job Description- Standardized Patient - $20.00 per hour
All Standardized Patient work will take place in the School of Medicine Education Bldg., at the University of California, Riverside
Seeking individuals to participate as "Standardized Patients". A Standardized Patient" (SP) is a person who has been carefully trained to portray all of the characteristics of a real patient, in order to provide an opportunity for a student to learn, or be evaluated, on clinical skills first hand. SPs portray cases, which are based on actual patients encountered by physicians. The SP is trained to simulate the signs and symptoms of the actual patient. skills.
Qualifications
Men and Women 18 years of age and over
Experience as a Standardized Patient preferred but not necessary. Will consider and train candidates with minimal acting experience to portray one or more cases. Case facts must be accurately memorized and retained; interaction with doctors requires improvisation skills and supportive feedback.
Scheduling
Must be available for flexible scheduling, Tuesday - Thursday. This role is primarily daytime, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays beginning in August
