LAUREN CAMP AND RACHELLE CRUZ
Join us for a performance featuring Los Angeles-based poet RACHELLE CRUZ
and New Mexico poet LAUREN CAMP.

RACHELLE CRUZ is from Hayward, California (in the Bay Area) but currently
lives in Riverside. She has taught creative writing, poetry and performance
to young people in New York City, the Bay Area and Los Angeles. She hosts
The Blood-Jet Writing Hour Radio Show on Blog Talk Radio. An Emerging Voices
Fellow and a Kundiman Fellow, she is working towards her first collection of
poems.

LAUREN CAMP is an arts educator, visual artist, radio host, and performer.
She produces the weekly poetry and music program Audio Saucepan on Santa Fe
Public Radio, and has received awards and recognition for her work from the
Gaea Foundation and the Southwest Literary Center. Her poems have been
published or are forthcoming in Beloit Poetry Journal, Hotel Amerika, World
Literature Today, Rhino, and other places. Part of Theaterwork's “Company of
Poets,” and an active, attentive teacher, Lauren also blogs daily about
