Along with dreaming of monkeys while at the keyboard...she won a University of California Institute for Research in the Arts grant.

According to UCIRA:

"Competition for the Emerging Fields award was particularly intense this year and we received many more applications than UCIRA could fund. Thus the Directors and Policy Board are especially pleased to announce that you have
been awarded [wouldn't you like to know! But it's a lot] toward your project Liquid."
