Two news items about Prof. Aslan:  He has passed his Ph.D. final oral  
exam at UC Santa Barbara and now is Dr. Aslan.  Congratulations!

He will be doing a reading from his new book, How to Win a Cosmic  
War, at the Riverside (Tyler Mall) Barnes & Noble) on May 22 at 6 p.m.
