Barnyard Theatre is proud to announce that Jessi Sundell's new play 'A
Little
Angel Now' has been selected for the company's summer 2008 mainstage
production.

This summer, Barnyard Theatre's production team will transform the Historic
Schmeiser Barn into the dreamlike world spun by emerging playwright Jessi
Sundell. When Carla and Lenny's infant son dies, neither Lenny nor their
daughter Abbie, a girl with Angelman Syndrome, can comfort Carla. Sundell's
beautiful language and surreal beach setting provide the backdrop for a
startling portrait of a family as it unravels.

Barnyard Theatre is a community theatre group dedicating to creating theatre
from scratch. Ever summer, this group of theatre artist gathers in Davis
California to develop new scripts and transform a working 100-year-old barn
into an elaborate theatre space.

Barnyard is the type of theatre company that once put the audience on a 23-
foot revolve. 70 seats fit on a massive turntable.
