[Alexis Vergalla]

 Brenda Varda is keeping herself busy!  She will be attending Extreme
Theatre symposium for the Mid America Theatre Conference this week, where
she will be presenting two papers on panels:

Process and Participation: Models from the Social Sciences for Collaborative
and Devised Theatre (pedagogy)

And

Extreme Collaboration in Devised Work for Small Theatre: Creating Viable
Processes with Limited Resources (directing)


Her paper "Postdramatic Theatre in the L.A. Police Academy: Collage Dance
Theatre's C'Opera" is also at MATC as part of the academic journal review.

And her short play "Insert Objections Here" is in the conference's Fringe
Festival.
