[Cwgrad-announcements] About our Day of the Dead Reading

First years: Something to think about and look forward to next year (from
Shane Shukis at the Sweeney Gallery):

Let the readers know that the Day of the Dead organizer and I agreed
to definitely include a SweeneyPROOFs reading in next year's event. It will
be like this: Along the parade route, the Gallery will build a stage that
reflects the semiotic theme of the festival. It will look like an altar
decorated in marigolds and votive candles. The readers will be the lead off
event and it will be timed so that when the last reader finishes, the parade
of performers and dancers will pass by. That sounds pretty cool!!!! We just
didn't have the time to make it work this year.

Also whoever is a first year and would like to be in charge of coordinating
the SweeneyPROOFS and all other off-campus readings, please contact me at
some point so we can start working together!
