Please join Tebot Bach as we welcome David Hernandez, Michael C Ford and
Dian Sousa to Tebot Bach at Golden West College. The Reading begins at 8:00
PM, Friday, February 23rd.  Open reading sign ups will begin at 7:30 PM. We
are located at: Golden West College Community Room 102, Huntington Beach, CA

David Hernandez's poetry collections include Always Danger (Southern
Illinois University Press, 2006), winner of the Crab Orchard Series in
Poetry, and A House Waiting for Music (Tupelo Press, 2003). In early 2008,
HarperCollins will publish his first novel, Suckerpunch. His poems have
appeared in The Missouri Review, Ploughshares, FIELD, TriQuarterly, AGNI,
The Southern Review, and The Iowa Review. His drawings have also appeared in
literary magazines, including a feature in Indiana Review. David lives in
Long Beach and is married to writer Lisa Glatt. 

 
Michael C Ford's debut recording of recorded incidents in alternative radio
(Language Commando) earned a Grammy nomination in 1987. His book of selected
poems (Emergency Exits) was honored with a Pulitzer Prize nomination.
Presently working on 3 film projects: The Kenneth Rexroth Centenary, the
film version of his play "Blondes Don't Bother To Knock" & his vision of
America: "Dreamsville, Illinois." Also, 4 recording projects: Fast Food
Sanitarium, Radio Noir, No Reservations: An Evening at the Sunset Palms
Hotel; plus a projected satellite radio program titled: IT MIGHT NOT BE
POETRY. 

 

The Reverend Dian Sousa is an activist with Code Pink: Women for Peace. Her
second book of poems: LULLABIES FOR THE SPOOKED AND COOL was published in
2005 by Mille Grazie Press, Santa Barbara, Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia.
She lives and surfs in Los Osos, Ca.
