I'd like to put a personal plug in for Caroline Wright, who gave a wonderful
reading of her poetry and translations in Riverside yesterday.

I'd like to also remind people one last time of Ruben Martinez and Sesshu
Foster at Rancho Mirage Library tomorrow from 1:30-3:30. Ruben holds a chair
in writing and social action at Loyola Marymount and has written for all the
major newspapers and magazines int the country and is responsible for PBS's
The New Americans. Sesshu Foster has made his career in the public school
system while writing amazing poetry and one of the wildest, most exuberant,
interesting novels of the last decade, Atomik Aztex.
