I am in the same state of housing stress -- incoming grad student seeking a place within walking distance of the campus. The only thing that I've found through the (very slow dial-up) internet is the local paper classifieds section -- The Press Enterprise www.pe.com .

So, if this is an appropriate forum, I also seek help.
