Dear Writerly Writers,


The inaugural Riverside Book Festival is rapidly approaching and I want to
be sure everyone has the opportunity to get involved.


Why a book festival?


First, the City of Riverside has almost every other kind of festival:
Festival of Lights, Lunar Festival, Dickens Festival, Tamale Festival, Dia
de los Muertos, Art & Music Festival, and so on.... Books are more than
just for pleasure reading. They document history, educate, illuminate, and
change lives. Who else but Inlandia, with the Riverside Public Library as
our partner, would put on such a festival?


So here we are, after years of planning and stalling and restarting. Mark
your calendars for Saturday, October 11, 2025 and help us celebrate!

part of the team behind the scenes.
