[Corebotanyfaculty] Botany and Plant Sciences Dept Notice - Change in Staff

Good afternoon,

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the departure of Carmen McCree from the Botany and Plant Sciences Dept.  She has accepted a Research Administrator 3 position in the School of Medicine at UCR.  Her strong C&G skills and dedication to the department will be deeply missed, but we wish her the very best on her new position.  Her last day in the offices will be Wednesday, March 6th, but will be available through Friday, March 8th, working remotely.

Over the past years, Carmen has been a valuable member of our team and department.  I would like to thank her for all her contributions to the Botany & Plant Sciences department and IIGB unit that were essential to our success.  We all have enjoyed working with Carmen and appreciated her work commitment, exceptional customer service and dedication throughout the years.

We will be moving forward with a recruitment and hope to fill the position as quickly as possible.  In the meantime, if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me.
