[Corebotanyfaculty] Faculty meeting Monday Oct 9 - 2158 Batchelor Hall, 2 pm

Hi everyone,
We will meet on Monday in Batchelor 2158.  The room has been cleaned, and construction noise is usually minimal by afternoon.  It can’t be worse than the room in Pierce!  The agenda is packed, so we will need to be efficient.

Agenda:

1.  Vote on renewal of Ferreira and Sandhu adjunct appointments - files attached.

2.  Discussion of 4 course proposals for the new Genetics and Biotechnology major.  These were sent earlier, and are attached again here.  I expect we will discuss these, and then vote after the meeting.

3.  Merit actions:

  *   Loralee Larios (accelerated merit)
  *   Arthur Jia (merit)
  *   Meng Chen (merit)
  *   Philippe Rolshausen (accelerated merit)

All merit files are open in eFilePlus and the ad hoc draft department letters have been uploaded.

Please try to attend in person, but I will send a zoom link. If you can’t attend, please vote for the merit actions electronically before the meeting.  I will send a link to ballots over the weekend.
