ALL BATCHELOR HALL OCCUPANTS AND DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP,



Please be advised that the following activities will be occurring at the Batchelor Hall Building for the week of April 24, 2023 through April 28, 2023.



            Site, Roof and Basement:

·         Research and Identification of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Piping.

·         Demo Concrete Deck at Roof.  Expect Vibration and Noise.

·         HHW in Basement.  Expect Welding Odor.

·         Chilled Water Piping Install.

·         Installation of Electrical Panels and Conduit Runs. Expect Drilling Noise.



Area A (Main Building):

·            Install Anchors for Conduit Runs in Basement. Expect Drilling Noise.

·            Install Plumbing Piping in Basement.  Expect Welding Odor.



Phase II:

·            Coring Concrete for Mechanical Piping Systems.  Expect Drilling Noise.

·            Demo of Concrete at Roof.  Expect Noise and Odor from the Cutting of Concrete.

·            Stripping of Roof Deck Material.

·            Welding of Duct Work to Fume Hoods in Labs.  Expect Welding Odor.

·            Installing Duct Work in Mechanical Chase.  Expect Welding Odor.

·            Concrete Deck Preparation at 4th Floor Lobby.  Expect Drilling and Hammering Noise.

·            Install Fire Alarm.

·            Install Fire Sprinklers.



Area B (South Building):

·            Duct work, Electrical and Painting in Room 2211A.  Expect Paint and Welding Odor.

·            Replacement of Existing Fire Dampers.

·            Phase I Punch Walks and Repairs.
