I am including as an attachment the flyer for an event that may be of interest to your Botany & Plant Science faculty which is taking place on Monday October 31st.  Please see further information below.

The Office of Technology Partnerships is proud to announce a new Industry – University Engagement Speaker Series which will take place monthly.

The “Industry and Sustainability Research Series” will feature industry speakers with the goal of helping faculty to understand how a particular company collaborates with universities, learn about research opportunities for faculty, and avenues to increase career opportunities for students. Industry speakers will also discuss areas of interest from a sustainability standpoint, trends in corporate sustainability, and potential areas of industry investment in academia in terms of sustainability.

Companies slated to participate include among others:

  *   BASF
  *   BAYER
  *   Raytheon Technologies / Pratt & Whitney


BASF will kick off the series with an a hybrid event on Monday October 31st 2022. All future webinars will take place at 12:00 noon via zoom the second Wednesday of each month.
