ALL BATCHELOR HALL OCCUPANTS AND DEPARTMENT LEADERSHIP,



Please be advised that the following activities will be occurring at the Batchelor Hall Building for the week of August 15, 2022, through August 19, 2022.



            Site, Roof and Basement:

·            Research and Identification of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Piping.

·            Install Plumbing Piping.

·            Prepping for Heating Hot Water Exchanger.

·            Line Stop on Chilled Water Lines Basement, Shut Down of Chilled Water.  Some Fluctuation in the Temperature May Be Felt Throughout the Building.

·            Prepping for Chilled Water Re-Routing.

·            Abatement of Piping Insulation.

·            Installing Temporary Cooling Units in Basement.

·            Patching Asphalt in Parking Lot 11 on Tuesday 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Driveway will be Closed at Eucalyptus).

·            Evening Work (Monday through Friday 10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.) for Underground Conduit Work in Parking Lot 11.



Area A (Main Building):

·            Install Anchors for Conduit Runs in Basement.

·            Install Plumbing Piping in Basement.

·            Preparation and Planning for Mechanical Piping Systems.

·            Installing Plumbing and Electrical in Room 2163.

·            Research in Rooms for Planning Duct Routing.

·            Saw Cut Door on the 4th Floor to the Roof Phase 1.



Area B (South Building):

·            Install Conduit in Corridors for New Lights.

·            Install Fire Alarm in Labs.

·            Install New Ductwork.

·            Cleaning of Ductwork.

·            Install Fume Hood Exhaust.

·            Taping and Painting at Electrical Room on the 3rd Floor.

·            Install Duct Supports on Roof.

·            Pressure Test Duct Work Phase 1 Mains.



In the efforts to minimizing the impact of the trenching for the installation of underground conduit in Parking Lot 11 for the week of August 1, 2022 through August 26.  The work will be conducted in the evenings as stated above.
