Greetings, UCR IT Colleagues!

Mark your calendars - UC Davis and UC Davis Health are co-hosting the UC
Tech Annual Conference in 2024!  The three-day event will be held on
Sunday, October 27, 2024, in Sacramento, and on Monday, October 28 and
Tuesday, October 29 in Davis.
The theme for this year’s event is *Collaboration for Transformation*,
recognizing the collaborative spirit of IT across the UC system and the
opportunities and changes ahead in higher education, health, and
technology.

Join us for three energizing days filled with:

   - Inspiring keynotes and presentations from leading experts in
   technology, education, and healthcare.
   - Engaging workshops and breakout sessions designed to spark new ideas,
   build a network, and equip you with actionable strategies.
   - Interactive exhibits and demonstrations showcasing the latest
   technological advancements created by and used across the UC community.
   - Ample networking opportunities to connect with peers, share best
   practices, and forge meaningful collaborations.

There are several ways to get the latest updates:

   1. Visit the conference website <https://uctech2024.ucdavis.edu/> and
   sign up for email updates.
   2. Join the UC Tech Slack workspace at uctech.slack.com and find
   updates, make connections, and learn about formal and informal events. It’s
   open to anyone in the UC system.

More information will be coming soon. UC Davis and UC Davis Health are
excited to showcase our campuses, build on our expertise and vision, and
strengthen the IT community across the UC system.

*About the UC Tech Annual Conference *

In its 42nd year, UC Tech is an annual technology conference hosted by the
University of California system to promote innovation, collaboration, and
engagement within the IT community and highlight the positive impact of
technology on teaching, learning, research, and patient care. UC Tech
welcomes UC staff and faculty associated with or interested in technology.
