[CITL] MyAccount Maintenance Scheduled for October 30

Dear CITL Members, 

 

Please be advised of upcoming scheduled maintenance to MyAccount taking
place from 10 PM until 11:59 PM on Friday, October 30, 2020. During this
maintenance window access to MyAccount and single sign-on through the
Central Authentication System (CAS) may be intermittently unavailable.  

 

The changes in functionality and user experience as a result of this
maintenance are:

.         Expiration functionality for temporary passwords

.         Enforcement of Security Questions/Answers character set

.         Automatic addition of '/' when user enters date of birth on
password reset page

.         Functionality to display all user devices in Bearhelp module

.         Enhancement of Bearhelp ability to set temporary passwords

.         Indication of the originating environment for user activity emails

.         Update to curated list of words for temporary passwords

 

These changes will deliver greater value to campus by improving campus
support and the user experience.
