Dear Chemistry faculty,

The agenda for Tuesday's faculty meeting will include discussion &
voting on two new graduate-level inorganic courses proposed by Matt
Conley and Sam Mann that seek to broaden the scope of our inorganic
offerings:

231E - Advanced Main Group Chemistry (Conley)
231F - Bioinorganic Chemistry (Mann)

Currently, we have only 4 core graduate level inorganic courses
(231A-D), compared to 5-6 in the other three sub-disciplines.  For
reference, the current inorganic ones are:

231A - Structure & Bonding in Inorganic Chemistry
231B - Reactivity and Mechanism in Inorganic and Organometallic Chemistry
231C - Solid-State and Materials in Inorganic Chemistry
231D - Experimental and Computational Solid State and Materials Chemistry

Additional details can be discussed on Tuesday, but I've attached the
draft syllabi for the proposed courses here.

Greg
