On behalf of The Center for Health Disparities Research Center, we are excited to invite you to our 5th annual symposium!



Join us for our annual symposium, where we focus on research about health disparities, environmental justice, and the collective progress toward health equity. This year's symposium is themed "The Right to Health: Bridging Disparities & Building Safe Havens". The event highlights an ongoing shift in health disparities research, from research “on” to research “with” communities, and is an opportunity for everyone to come together to support and learn from each other. Don't miss this opportunity to engage with local researchers and community members, we look forward to your participation!

The symposium is open to all faculty, post-docs, graduate and undergraduate students, staff, community partners, and the public!

Date: Two-day event on February 21 & 22, 2024

Time: Registration opens at 11:30 am, Symposium is from 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm

En representación del Centro de Investigación sobre Disparidades en la Salud, le invitamos a nuestro quinto simposio anual.



Acompáñenos en nuestro simposio anual, en el que nos centramos en la investigación sobre las disparidades en la salud, la justicia Ambiental, y el progreso colectivo hacia la equidad de salud. El tema y título del simposio de este año es “El Derecho a la Salud: Superando las Disparidades y Construyendo Refugios Seguros.” El evento destaca un cambio continuo en las investigaciones de las disparidades en la salud, de la investigación “en” a la investigación “con” las comunidades y presenta una oportunidad para que todos se reúnan para apoyarse y aprender entre sí. No se pierda esta oportunidad de relacionarse con investigadores locales y miembros de la comunidad, esperamos contar con su participación.

El simposio está abierto a todo el profesorado, postdoctorado, estudiantes, y público en general.
