[Chass-gsaos] GSMS Employment Module - Fall Contracts

Good afternoon everyone,

Thank you for your patience while the college reviewed all steps for
issuing contracts in the new system.  With the college dean’s approval,
please proceed with sending your fall contracts via GSMS using the
recommended steps for appointments:

   1. Enter the Faculty Supervisor’s name (not the staff member name).
   2. Select the generic DoD.
   3. Click “Mark as Complete”.
   4. Send Offer.

Thank you to GSAOs who contributed their input to the generic DoD during
Patrick's Office Hours!  The college deans have reviewed the generic DoD
and made changes to items 1 and 3.  It is now reflected in GSMS.

When faculty return from summer break, please submit a revision to the DoD,
initiating a notice to the faculty supervisor to revise the generic DoD.
When faculty have completed the revisions, staff should receive a
notification of the change.

Complete this process for all students *on commitment *by end of day
on *Friday,
August 21*.
