Dear Perspective Co-Researchers,

My name is Arlene Cano Matute, I am a fourth-year doctoral candidate in the School of Education at the University of California, Riverside. I am currently in the dissertation stage of my program. My research aims to advance our knowledge of Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) by exploring the extent to which these institutions have served Chicano/Latino students as a means to operationalize a more holistic and historical understanding of serving. As principal investigator, I plan to work alongside undergraduate co-researchers on a Participatory Action Research (PAR) project of the University of California, Riverside a top-performing Hispanic Serving Research Institution (HSRI), recovering the origins of serving from the 1960s-1970s.

I am recruiting undergraduate co-researchers for this project. I invite you to apply for this opportunity if you are interested. Project details and eligibility requirements are attached.
