Greetings Students,

Hope you all are staying safe and healthy, good luck on midterms as well! Thanks to everyone who joined us last week for our DDLM events, we appreciate it! Here's a list of events that are going on this week and next, please take a sec to go over what we have to offer!

Campus Safety Task Force Town Hall
In September, Chancellor Wilcox appointed a Campus Safety Task Force to advise on how to improve public safety for all members of the UC Riverside Community.

The task force is hosting a town hall meeting on November 12 at 3 PM  to gather campus input on safety and policing.

I believe that this is a great opportunity for students to engage in important dialogue regarding campus safety.

Native American Heritage Month (November)

NASP recognizes, celebrates, and honors Native American/American Indian/Indigenous heritage all year long, and November is Native American Heritage Month! Established in 1990, National American Indian Heritage Month, brings focus to the original peoples of these lands. With over 550 tribes within the United States, and over 100 in California alone, the rich diversity of culture, traditions, and peoples have survived settler colonialism, genocide, and uncountable atrocities. Today the descendants of the original peoples carry the strength and knowledge of their ancestors and continue to thrive. You are on Native Land, and We are still here.
