!

The goal of the Strategies for Ecology Education, Diversity, and
Sustainability (SEEDS) Chapter at UC Riverside is to promote diversity and
advancement in the ecological profession through experiences and
opportunities to both broaden and deepen students’ understanding of ecology
and potential careers. SEEDS is a program of the Ecological Society of
America (ESA).

We conduct undergraduate research, facilitate networking and professional
development, host field trips, attend scientific conferences, and explore
our local environment.
*Help us find a time for our first Social / General Meeting!*

*Please fill out the when2meet poll below* to help us with scheduling.

*Volunteer needed to coordinate SEED Bank Study*

SEEDS at UCR is seeking a motivated undergraduate volunteer to coordinate a
research project part of our larger Campus Hill Restoration Research
Project (CHRRP). For more information on this project, see the poster
linked below.

We envision a seed bank study to provide important species diversity data
by growing seeds contained in soil cores in a greenhouse. This student
would be responsible for organizing volunteers to maintain a regular
schedule of seed watering, and ensure project completion. *This position
would result in research and leadership experience.*

If you are interested, contact Advyth Ramachandran (Vice President of SEEDS
at UCR) at arama031 at ucr.edu.

If you are not quite ready to lead this, *reach out if you are interested
in being a volunteer for this project!*

you are a job seeker, come see what's available! Even if you're not
actively looking, it's always great to see what's out there. If you are an
organizational leader and anticipate having open positions later this fall,
winter or spring, we would love to have your organization represented as an
employer! The cost is free for job seekers and organizational members of
