Hello All, there is a newly opened position for a desert ecologist at the
Marine Base in 29 Palms. This is a permanent (GS12) position coordinating
the natural resource management on the base (which is about as large and
diverse as Joshua Tree National Park). The posting is open to the public,
but only up for 5 days (closes 10/25). This could be a big opportunity for
any recent grads with natural resource management experience, and who want
to actively make a difference in the conservation of desert flora and fauna.
