EDUC 3 - Imagining Teaching: Science/Mathematics Emphasis
· Tuesdays from 5:10 to 7:00 p.m. or Thursdays from 5:10 to 7:00 p.m.
· 3-units and $600 stipend
EDUC 3 is designed for CNAS and COE majors to
explore the field of science/mathematics
education without any prior teaching experience.

· Tuesdays from 4:10 to 5:30 p.m.
· 1-units
NASC 192 seminar is open to junior and senior
CNAS and COE majors interested in teaching
science or mathematics. This 1-unit seminar is
designed to expand professional network and
opportunities available in science/mathematics education.

EDUC 100A - Community Outreach
EDUC 100A section -008 was created by ALPHA
Center's ISIS program director, Linda
Braatz-Brown. It is a 2-unit seminar that has 2
class meetings. All other work are documenting,
in accordance to Ms. Braatz-Brown's requirements,
your current CMST classroom experiences. Ongoing
evaluation and communication are done remotely/electronically.

EDUC/MATH 104 - Mathematics Education
· Tuesdays & Thursdays from 11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
· 4-units
EDUC/MATH 104 is a highly recommended course for
prospective mathematics/science
teachers. Students examine contemporary
instructional strategies that will enhance
mathematics/science teaching. The course is open
to sophomore, junior, and senior CNAS and COE majors.
