Be a part of the UCR Student Conduct and Academic Integrity Committees
for 2008-2009
Wanted: Committed and dedicated student leaders
to join the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity Committees.
These committees are responsible for reviewing
alleged serious and chronic violations of
University Policy by students and/or student
organizations. This includes both academic and
non-academic violations. The Committees are
comprised of students, staff, and faculty who are
interested in making a difference in the
community by assisting the University in and
ensuring accused students receive due process and
addressing student misconduct in a constructive manner.
Most professions have ethics and/or standards
boards. This experience is an excellent
opportunity for students to build leadership
skills in critical thinking, ethical
decision-making , policy analysis, and
communication. We are seeking both graduate and
undergraduate students from all colleges (COE, CNAS, CHASS, AGSM, and GSE).
Positions: Student Chair (2 positions)
· 10-15 hour time commitment per week paid position
· Stipend of $250 per quarter
· Must have at least junior status at time of service
Member (30 positions)
· 3-5 hour time commitment per week
· Volunteer position
· Must have at least sophomore status at time of service
Qualifications include:
* 2.5 cumulative and quarterly GPA
* Full-time student status
* Must have attended UCR at least one (1) full year
* Possess a high level of personal integrity
and be in good conduct standing with the University
* Be available 1-2 weekday afternoons from 2:30-5:30pm
* Sophomore status at time of service (Junior status for chair position)

and the priority deadline is Friday, April 25,
2008. We will be accepting applications on a
rolling basis until all positions are filled.
