Supplemental Instruction Leader
$12.00/hour

APPLICATION DEADLINE:  Open until Filled


The Learning Center is seeking highly qualified, 
upper-division students to be Supplemental 
Instruction (SI) Leaders beginning FALL 2008 in the following courses:
    *  MATH 4, 5, 8AB, 9ABC,22
    * CHEM 1ABC, 112ABC
    * BIOL 5ABC
    * PHYS 2ABC

SI Leader requirements:
         ·        Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
         ·        Available to work 10-19 hrs/wk

SI Leader responsibilities:
         ·        Attend lectures
         ·        Prepare for and lead weekly SI sessions
         ·        Meet regularly with professors
         ·        Participate in SI Leader training
         ·        Participate in Peer Educator Core Practicum


  ·        Help other UCR students develop the 
attitudes, habits, and skills necessary for academic success

·        Build professional relationships with 
professors, UCR staff, and other SI Leaders

·        Develop the attitudes and skills for leadership and professionalism
