We are reaching out on behalf of the Cal-Bridge Doctoral Program

to share information about the opportunities available to Cal-Bridge
scholars pursuing doctoral studies in STEM fields and to encourage
consideration of Cal-Bridge scholars during your upcoming admissions cycle.
The Cal-Bridge Doctoral Program is designed to support scholars pursuing
PhDs in STEM fields. Any current Cal-Bridge Scholar or alum who
matriculates into a UC PhD program starting in 2027-28 will come with a
$40,000 Cal-Bridge Fellowship* that the department can use to support the
scholar’s study and academic development under these guidelines

This crucial funding enables UC scholars to dedicate themselves more fully
to their studies and research at an earlier stage in their doctoral
journey, providing a strong foundation for their academic and professional

outlines all the benefits of admitting a Cal-Bridge scholar to your PhD
program.

We would be grateful if you kept this in mind as you begin identifying

follow up in January with a list of doctoral programs to which our scholars
intend to apply.
