[Bphystudent] Volunteers Needed: Local School Science Fair Judges (Jan 22)

Dear Fellow Grad Students:

I am reaching out to see if any graduate students would be interested in
volunteering as judges for a local school science fair at a nearby K–6 High
school located within walking distance from UCR. We are hoping to recruit *at
least six volunteers*, preferably representing different programs.

The science fair will take place *in person on Thursday, January 22, from
4:00–6:00 PM*. Volunteers are asked to arrive between *3:00–3:30 PM for
check-in*. The students are in *grades 4–6*, and projects will be presented
as *poster presentations* covering a variety of science topics. A judging
rubric and scoring form will be provided.

This is a great opportunity to engage with the local community and support
STEM education.

If you are interested and available, please let me know *in the next few
days* so I can coordinate the next step.
