[Bphystudent] [Ssb_members] Application for SSB OFFICERS

Hi fellow Grad Students,

I hope you had a good first week of the Fall Quarter!

SSB is back and we have a lot of events planned for our students this year!
To be involved in these we encourage everyone to apply for the open
positions. We are *starting applications* for* three SSB Elected Officer
Positions *for 2025-2026.

Here is a short description of all the open positions:

*Vice President: *The VP is the second in rank of SSB. You would act as the
representative for SSB in all GSA meetings and be responsible for providing
updates to the council. Your responsibilities would also include planning
and execution of the club's events.

*Corresponding Secretary: *As the corresponding secretary you would be
responsible for all marketing and outreach efforts of SSB. This includes
the oversight and management of social media accounts and publicity efforts
of SSB. You would also be responsible for creation of mid-year and
end-of-year newsletter to be submitted to the Biophysical Society Office.

*Recording Secretary:* The recording secretary keeps electronic records of
all general and officer meetings and presides over meetings in the absence
of the President and Vice President at meetings.

Please note that all applicants must be *full-time students in good
academic standing.*

Outside of these you can also volunteer to be a part of the planning
committee which is under the umbrella of the vice president and responsible
for the successful execution of events! For questions or more information
