[Botanystaff] FW: FY24 CNAS Fiscal Closing Letter

Dear All,

Attached is the 2023-2024 fiscal closing letter outlining specific allocation/closing processes for CNAS (along with the closing letter from Bobbi McCracken for reference).  There have been some changes and additions, so please review fully.  Some notable items include:


  1.  All PERM Budget Transfers, not related to staffing, to be completed by June 25
  2.  All TEMP Budget Transfers (between units) to be completed by July 8 and all other departmental Budget Transfers by July 9
  3.  Clear UCPath Suspense Fund 69993 - June 10
  4.  Staffing to be balanced by June 12
  5.  New:  CFD 19900 Fund Reconciliation - June 21
  6.  Re: Employee Benefits Reimbursement - we will be providing an analysis of benefits reimbursement for July through May actuals plus a projection for June by June 24, and any discrepancies are due from departments by June 27.  Once June actuals post, the Dean's Office will reconcile to balance y/e benefits.

We are aware that some of these timelines are tight.  Please do your best to keep to the scheduled dates.  If you find you are unable to meet any of the posted deadlines, please contact the assigned analyst as soon as possible for options.
