[Biomed_grad_faculty] Call for Applications: Technical GSR Positions (Deadline: May 8)

Dear BMSC PhD Students and Faculty Mentors,

The Division of Biomedical Sciences is pleased to announce two Technical Graduate Student Researcher (T-GSR) positions for the upcoming 2026-2027 fiscal year.

Position Details:

  *   Appointment: Two 50% T-GSR positions.
  *   Term: One year (July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027).
  *   Eligibility: BMSC PhD students who have completed first-year milestones and are current with their Annual Mentorship Evaluations (AMEs).

How to Apply: Please submit the following materials to biomedsci at medsch.ucr.edu<mailto:biomedsci at medsch.ucr.edu> by May 8, 2026:

  1.  Completed fillable PDF application (attached).
  2.  Current CV.
  3.  Letter of Support from your Major Professor (Applications are not considered complete until this is received).

Note: You will receive a confirmation email once both your application and the letter of support have been received.

Selection Process: The review process may include an interview with administrators. Coordination for these interviews will occur after the initial application review.

Important Constraint: Students selected for a Technical GSR position are not permitted to accept other academic employment (GSR or TA) or fellowship awards for the 2026-2027 academic year.
