Hello BMSC PhD Students and Faculty Mentors,

It's time! Applications for the Burden/Pease Biomed Fellowship for the 2026-2027 academic year are officially open. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure dedicated time for research. The award provides stipend support for one academic quarter and covers your tuition and fees. Faculty mentors, please encourage your eligible Biomed students to apply!

Application Essentials

  *   The Form: Complete the attached Word document.
  *   The Letters: Two recommendation letters are required-one must be from the Major Professor.
  *   Submission: Email your application (and ask your recommenders to send their letters) to: biomedsci at medsch.ucr.edu<mailto:biomedsci at medsch.ucr.edu>

Please ensure all materials are submitted by Friday, May 8, 2026.
