BMSC Graduate Program Faculty,
As the BSMC Graduate Program Recruitment Day approaches, the Admissions Committee would appreciate your participation in recruitment activities on Friday, January 21, 2022. This event is only successful if we have all program faculty involved. We thank you for your continued support and participation.
Candidate 1:1 Interviews
Recruitment Day will be a full-day of activities, including interviews. One-on-one interviews will be scheduled during morning blocks from 9:15am-10:30am and afternoon blocks from 1:00pm-2:15pm. We have a total of 33 candidates being invited and ask each faculty to interview 3-4 candidates. Please let us know which block you will be available to interview with our candidates. If you can interview during both blocks, that allows for more flexibility with the candidates' schedules.
Faculty-Candidate ENGAGEMENT OPPortunities
We know how important it is to interact as much as possible with the candidates to get a better sense of their overall qualifications. Since all activities will be virtual, it is especially important for faculty to engage with the candidates through informal conversations. This will help in your recommendations of the candidates' academic preparation and general "fit" for the program.
We have created two engagement opportunities for recruits to connect more informally with faculty. There is a Coffee Break from 2:15-2:40pm and the Closing Session/Faculty Networking time from 5:00-6:30pm (if you are available for even a portion of the networking time, we would really appreciate your participation). Since these will be virtual sessions, we will have small breakout rooms for the candidates to chat with 1-3 faculty per room. They will be permitted to rotate to other rooms throughout the networking time. Please RSVP to either one or both sessions.

This is a time sensitive request, as there are several schedules we need to solidify before the event date. Please respond at your earliest convenience, but no later than Tuesday, January 11th, 2022. We will send you an Outlook meeting invite with details of the candidates you will be interviewing.

New hybrid schedule as of September 2021: Available in-person on campus Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays 8:00AM-4:30PM. I will be available remotely on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00AM-4:30PM.
