Subject: UCR Discover Day, this Saturday-need help


  Dear all,

 Within the past 48 hours I was notified that UCR will be hosting its
recruitment Discover Day this coming Saturday.  I believe this event is to
secure matriculants from those who have been accepted to UCR but have not
yet decide where they are going to college.  I write to ask if you would
help me in one of two ways for one hour:

 1.  To help with an information table (8 am- 12 noon – I will take the 8
am hour if that is any incentive).
2.  Give a tour of your lab space (several groups will be guided through
our building between 11 am –1 pm). Again, I would only ask you to be there
for one of the two hours.
