[Bgsa] Fall EEOBGSA meeting - THIS FRIDAY at NOON

Dear fellow graduate students,

The fall EEOBGSA meeting will be this Friday (Oct. 2) at 12:10pm in
the Moore Room (Spieth 3365) (instead of Lunch Bunch).  We hope to be
done by 1, but may spill over as late as 1:30 – please feel free to
leave early if you have other things to go to.  Pizza, beverages, and
(probably) a homemade dessert will be provided.

Aside from being a nice opportunity to acquire some free food, this
should be an interesting meeting to attend.  For new students, it will
serve as an introduction to what our graduate student organizations
are up to and what opportunities there are to get involved.  For the
rest of us, it will be an opportunity to hear about/discuss a number
of new things – our new outreach committee, the new EEOB program
committees that we have representatives on, potential impacts of the
university’s budget problems on graduate students, etc.  A draft
agenda is attached to this email in case you want more details about
the meeting.
