Dear new and old biology people,

You are invited for a once-in-a-lifetime historical tour of Legendary Riverside Party Houses on November 7th 2009. Come and see the places where nearly everything of importance happened during the 2008-2009 party season.

Meet your fellow tour-participants at 3pm at 548 Glenhill Drive, the location of the first pool party of 2009. Nibble on some appetizers and sample some refreshing drinks while elderly Riverside residents spin the yarn about that faithful day last May. Don't hesitate to jump in the pool (in November? Why, yes, this is Riverside!) to frolic and play some volleyball, just as it happened back in the spring!

Next, at 6pm, proceed to 3055 Valencia Hill Drive. This will be the party house of the future. Your experienced hosts were the organizers of the unforgettable Winter 2009 Post-Apocalyptic Rave (oh, the electronic beats! the black-lights! the neon outfits! the cooler booze!), but have since left their concrete bunker to set up shop in this lovely home. Eat your gourmet buffet meal and empty your fifth or sixth drink while you pet Spike and admire the exceptionally well-laid hardwood floors (through the window).

Once your buzz is going strong and your stomach is ready for some brownies and cupcakes, find your way at 8pm to 137 E. Campus View street. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the home of legendary Prom 2009 - Eurotrash/we're on a boat. The air is laden with memories of the green Seawater punch, the real life sailing boat filled with beer, the navy/gold theme colors, the sordid making out and the covert groping of fellow biologists in ridiculous outfits. At this nearly sacred location an ongoing interactive re-enactment of the most legendary Flippy Cup, Beerpong and Cornhole competitions of 2008-2009 will take place, in which you are strongly encouraged to participate.

With your game-lust satisfied and your head spinning, you are then at 11pm expected at 115 E. Blaine Street. At this seemingly innocent corner bungalow, not one but two magical cocktail parties were held last year. Squint your eyes and envision the fairytale lights, the beautiful shimmering dresses, the handsome gentlemen and the merry clinking of martini glasses. Try to trace the remains of the 2009 Grad Student Olympics - some say that on hazy days, the smell of yogurt still lingers around the white picnic table!
At this final destination, dance and drink until you can’t dance and drink no more, and make sure that we have something to talk about next year!

Please let us know whether you will participate in this legendary tour. We will ask for a 5 dollar contribution to keep costs bearable and to make this a truly unforgettable experience.
All the houses in the tour are (<15min) walking distance from each other, however, biking is strongly advised.
There might be a t-shirt designed for the occasion for a small fee (< $10), let us know if you would be interested in that...

See you there!
Your tour guides: Rebecca, Rich, Chris, Kimmy, Mart, Laramy, Arne and Trynke.
