[Bgsa] PLEASE READ: Fall TA positions

Hey Guys,
	Because of the budget cuts, there is more competition for TA spots  
this year, meaning that several more senior people in our department  
have been told we will not be getting funding for the fall.  I know  
that people sometimes sign up for TA spots just in case, even when  
they know they may be on fellowship or GSR.

	If you are one of these people, PLEASE contact David Reznick and  
Daphne Fairbairn, who will be attending a TA assignment meeting soon  
and let them know.  Otherwise those of us without TA spots will not  
know until classes are about to start whether we need to find another  
job.
