Here are a few things going on for Earth Day this week at UCR.

***Monday, April 21***
-Mini Recycling Center-Bring all your recyclables to campus & recycle your
heart out!!
- Recycling Information & Activities Tables
- Energy demonstrations @ Belltower lawn
-Clean Car display
- Dr. Linda Fernandez lecture on Economics in relation to Environmental
Preservation @ 2pm in Commons 367
***Tuesday April 22***
*- TODAY IS EARTH DAY!! MAKE SURE YOU WEAR GREEN!!! =D*
-E-cycle: Electronic Waste Collection & Recycling--recycle your computers,
peripherals, cameras, telephones, microwaves, TVs, batteries, & more. This
event is on April 22 only! From 8am-1pm, Drop off locations: A&I, Batchelor
Hall, Boyce Hall, Pierce Hall, & Lot 30 Section 3
-Dr. Norm Ellstrand's Open lecture: "Sustainability in the Peak Oil Age:
Cuba as a Case Study" @ 11:30am in Commons 355
- Land, Food, Water workshops @ Belltower lawn
- Sustainability Fair @ Belltower lawn
-Lightbulb Exchange @ Belltower lawn
-Activities & GREEN Snow Cones @ Belltower lawn
- BioTour bus, being run on veggie oil with solar panel roofs: showcasing @
Olmstead Plaza
***Wednesday, April 23***
- BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY! Ride your bike!!
- Hector Rivera's Presentation on Climate Change: 7pm @ Life Sciences 1500
***Thursday, April 24***
- Sustainability Photo Exhibit
-Film @ the Barn: "Who Killed the Electric Car?" at 6pm-free giveaways!
