Doesn't everyone? Anyway, if you feel like hearing a FREE concert featuring Renaissance, Medieval, and Baroque music, come to the Riverside Public Library this Friday afternoon and listen to the UCR Collegium musicum. I'll be playing a couple of strange instruments and even singing in Latin (don't worry, the other folks in the group will probably drown me out). Here's the announcement:
Friday, June 15, 3 pm
French Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Music performed by UCR's Collegium Musicum
This student ensemble will play French and Franco-Flemish instrumental music from the 13th-16th centuries, combined with lively and informative demonstrations of the instruments popular in this era.
Hope to see you there. If anyone wants to carpool and doesn't mind showing up an hour or so early, let me know.
Cheers,
Carla
