This informal program will introduce you to student leaders, LGBT Resource Center staff, upcoming events, and programs such as Community OUTreach Educators/CORE. Enjoy speed chatting and swag, too.

An International Space for LGBTQI2S+ members to collectively create a "Coming Out" altar. This is a space to honor our identities and acknowledge ourselves(and each other) no matter where you are in your coming out journey!

Open to all LGBTQI2S+, genders, and gender non-conforming identities

Enjoy free ice cream or a frozen treat and a chance to make connections with our campus community at the LGBTRC Open House. Learn about the LGBT Resource Center's space and programming.  Take a tour of the David Bohnett CyberCenter, the Quiet Room, the Lounge and Meeting Room. We especially invite students, staff, and faculty who have not yet visited our campus home to stop by, and we extend a warm welcome to our Allies.
Make sure you also pick up a "Love Is Love Is Love Is Love..." T-shirt at our Open House, too!

In honor of National Coming Out Day (Oct 11th), the LGBTRC welcomes students to share their stories! Whatever your experience with coming out or what it means to you, you're welcome to express it and hear the stories of others. This is the first Tuesday Talk of the quarter, a courageous space for students to share with each other or simply listen. *There will be pizza!*

Trans Group - Starting Week 2

The Trans Group is a supportive discussion space for transgender and nonbinary UCR students, facilitated by center staff. The UCR Trans Group meets on Thursdays at 2 pm.

The BlaqOUT Discussion Group is for same-gender-loving, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and/or questioning students who identity as Black/African American or of African descent. Join us in the LGBT Resource Center for weekly, student led, Queer Cinema Nights! Discover classic and contemporary "movies in the closet.” Bring some snacks, make some friends, and stay for the discussion about the very best and queerest movies in the community. We begin gathering around 5:30pm in the LGBTRC Lounge.
