[BFASA] Black Scholar Engagement Opportunity - R'Black Business

Hello BFASA Family,

As mentioned during last week’s general meeting… One of our amazing Black Scholars at the undergraduate level is hosting a career fair with the support of Dr. Myrick and African Student Programs.  The career fair will be this Thursday (February 16) from noon to 3pm in HUB 302N.

BFASA is in need of volunteers to be stationed at our tabling booth.  BFASA will be representing the collective of various professions that can be found within the higher ed industry.  It would be great to get representatives amongst ourselves as we are a prime example of the collection of various professions within higher ed.

If you would like to volunteer, please let me know via email no later than close of business on Tuesday (February 14).  I will create a universal handout/flyer that contains important facts about the professions within higher ed.  All you need to do is show up and be prepared to talk about your profession and how one can enter said profession.  You would not be required to stay for all 3 hours.  Any time you can dedicate will suffice!
