Subject: BEI Reparations Task
The California Taskforce on Reparations and the Black Equity Initiative invite you to join us to offer input on how Reparations should be explored and structured in California. The Taskforce was established by the CA Assembly Bill 3121 to study and develop Reparations recommendations on appropriate remedies for compensation, rehabilitation, and restitution for African Americans. As part of its work, the Taskforce is working with community organizations to host a series of listening sessions to hear stories of harm and recommendations for remedies from community members like you.
