Subject: Submission Invitation: 21st Annual GLAMFA MFA Exhibition at Cal
State Long Beach
To: <iselda.salgado at ucr.edu>

Hello Iselda,

My name is Jacqueline Mix. I am a current MFA at Cal State Long Beach and
Co-Organizer of the Greater Los Angeles MFA Exhibition (GLAMFA), CSULB’s
annual group show which recognizes and amplifies the work of talented fine
arts graduate students across Southern California. Submissions are now open
for the show, which will take place in January 2026. I’m reaching out to
ask if you would be willing to pass information about the show on to the
graduate students and faculty in your program? We want to make sure the
application is distributed widely so the show represents as much of the MFA
community as possible. Applications will be open until this Monday November
10th.

A little about the show: This will be the 21st anniversary of GLAMFA, which
is an entirely student-run endeavor that provides opportunities to connect
with our broader MFA cohort. Through the central exhibition, affiliated
events, and catalog publication, GLAMFA cultivates a community of emerging
LA-based artists– stoking critical dialogue and lasting camaraderie.

Below is the submission link with full information and details about the
application.

Please let me know if you have any questions at all. Thank you!
