*Description:*

Under the supervision of a faculty member, Teaching Assistants at UCR
perform teaching-related duties to support undergraduate instruction in
Sociology courses.


Attend lectures as required by the instructor

Lead discussion sections or laboratory sections

Hold office hours for student consultation

Assist in preparation of instructional materials

Grade assignments, exams, papers, and other coursework under faculty
supervision

Maintain student records, including grades and attendance

Proctor exams and assist with classroom management

Communicate regularly with the instructor regarding course progress and
student issues

Perform other related duties as assigned
