<p><b>Description:</b> </p><p>Under the supervision of a faculty member, Teaching Assistants at UCR perform teaching-related duties to support undergraduate instruction in Sociology courses. </p>
<p><br>Attend lectures as required by the instructor</p>
<p>Lead discussion sections or laboratory sections</p>
<p>Hold office hours for student consultation</p>
<p>Assist in preparation of instructional materials</p>
<p>Grade assignments, exams, papers, and other coursework under faculty supervision</p>
<p>Maintain student records, including grades and attendance</p>
<p>Proctor exams and assist with classroom management</p>
<p>Communicate regularly with the instructor regarding course progress and student issues</p>
<p>Perform other related duties as assigned</p><p></p>
