*GLUCK CHASS Dean's Fellows: Classroom, Family Learning and UCR ARTS Off
the Block Call for Applications*

The Gluck CHASS Classroom or Family Learning fellowship is a new initiative
that extends a 2025-2026 Gluck fellowship funding period from 12 months
into 18 months. Fellows focus their efforts on areas of high interest
identified by our community partners between July 1 and December 31, 2026.
Fellows are sought who have the following areas of expertise, and are open
to graduate student applicants in any department or discipline in CHASS:

   - Elementary school programming (any arts topic, interactive programming
   designed to get kids actively engaged during a single session or series of
   sessions.
   - Middle school programming (special interest in practice-based
   programming in dance, theatre, music, or technology in arts)
   - High school programming (special interest in a series of sessions that
   can be integrated into an arts class, a non-arts class, or an opt-in
   session held during an office hours period during school hours, and/or
   programs with a project completed at the end (e.g. a podcast, a sculpture,
   a script created by students).
   - Community Programming
   - UCR Arts Off the Block (June-August)

The amount of the Gluck CHASS fellowship is: $3500

This fellowship will be paid as financial aid in December 2026, incomplete
fellowships will be forfeited; applicants must be regularly registered
students in summer or fall 2026 to be eligible.

   - *The obligation for the Classroom or Family Learning fellowship is at
   least 7 sessions of community arts outreach.*
   - *The obligation for Off the Block 2026 *June 23, 2026 - July 24,
2026, Tuesday
   through Friday; 10am to 4pm, Public screening: August 8th. Orientation
   and meetings as scheduled

Notification by April 1, 2026
