The History of Art department is seeking applications for the 2025-2026 Gluck Classroom and VRC Gluck Global Fellowships. These fellowships enable selected students to engage in a variety of public arts education programs and come with a stipend that is generally around $5000. All present and incoming History of Art graduate students are encouraged to apply. There are several categories of fellowships and you may apply for one or several of them. The Gluck program is planned for face-to-face presentations; all fellows must be available to present in Riverside during the 2025-26 academic year. If a recipient leaves campus before their fellowship is complete, their fellowship will be prorated.

The fellowship process is outlined in the link below. The website is a bit complicated, so if you have questions please contact Iselda Salgado<mailto:iseldas at ucr.edu> for advice.
The current timeline:
April 1, 2025               2025-26 Gluck Fellows Applications available on the Gluck website
May 1, 2025               Department Chair notifies Gluck Office of Department Coordinator for 25-26
May 15, 2025             2025-26 Gluck Fellows Applications due to the Gluck Office
May 28, 2025              Applications emailed to current and incoming Department Coordinator
by July 1, 2025           Department Coordinator notifies Fellows and Gluck Office success or
failure of application
July 15, 2025              Gluck office redistributes unfilled department fellowships
September 25             10:00am Gluck Orientation for Classroom Fellows –
                                    MANDATORY ATTENDANCE! Zoom meeting
